Process/Utilities Engineer

Job Description

Our client has an aseptic drug product facility, specialising in secondary manufacturing activities Formulation, Vial/Syringe Filling, Lyophilisation and Packaging.

This company is developing the capability to produce all its medicines in Dun Laoghaire, South Dublin, helping to ensure continuity of supply of medicines as they expand internationally.

CIM are looking for an experienced Process/Utilities Engineer to expand an onsite production support service we provide our client.

As a contract, the position offers excellent rates and the opportunity for a long-term placement.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • To support troubleshooting on all Utilities processes and equipment including:
  • • Detailed problem statement
    • Structured root cause analysis
    • Document of corrective actions

  • Supporting non-conformances.
  • Attend daily production meetings and drive actions for the engineering team.
  • Address flow interrupter and reliability tasks supplied by maintenance and engineering.
  • Aide the identification/implementation of system improvements and corrective actions.
  • Aide the coaching of operators and maintenance technicians in the effective use of equipment.
  • Lead and document non-conformance investigations.
  • Manage and execute change controls for continuous improvement projects.
  • Skills and Education

  • Third level qualification in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, Manufacturing, Bio-Tech or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following areas; Clean Utilities, Black Utilities, HVAC, Electrical.
  • 3+ years’ experience working in engineering preferably in the Life Sciences/ Pharma sector.
  • Excellent communication skills.
